Thank you to our friend Tatjana for her amazing help and company today. This nursery is so darn cute.

We're getting closer and closer... we need at least a week here to get things together but we have a feeling we might be a bit early. Maybe I'm just hoping thats the case because I'm so incredibly uncomfortable.

Working everyday has to be the hardest part right now.

We're getting close now folks!

38 weeks pregnant. I've now been placed on modified bedrest because of high blood pressure. We'll find out on Thursday about if/when we'll be inducing (the baby is doing prefectly fine according to this morning's tests and monitoring at the birth center). The doctors think I'm so close and dont want me to settle into full blown Pre-Eclampsia before I can deliver. I have been told not to work and my wonderful boss and employers are working with me on that.

Sandy will arrive on Tuesday to help, so I'm hoping we can hold on until then.

There MIGHT be one more pregnant picture of me if I get up the nerve.

This could very well be the last pregnant picture you will see of me. I am tired, and have no makeup on.. I look terrible and huge!

Doc today said I have started dilating. We will be checking me on Monday and if I have progressed, we may induce at that time (if I havent already gone into labor). My blood pressure is better, but they still want me to take it easy.

I just came back from a dinner of (supposedly) labor inducing eggplant parmagiana. The house is clean. The Braxton Hicks are noticable.

Doctor's appointment is tomorrow at 3:45
Sandy gets in on Tuesday at noonish

I think we're ready as we'll ever be to have this baby. Now it's just up to him.

Also... please go congratulate my dear friend Liz L and her Hubby Kris on the birth this past week of their beautiful boy, Henry. It has been my pleasure and honor to go through our pregnancies together and I cant wait for our children to meet. Liz L and I have known each other for many many years and through our crazy friend Amy, we reconnected over our pregnancies and it has been wonderful.

Well...

We're off to Labor and Delivery per the doctors orders. I am 3 cm dilated and contracting but they are still not sure if I will be delivering or if they will be sending me home to wait it out.

We're home, grabbing some last minute things and then we're off. Will update when we can.
