Llamatorium

Well I'm flying back to Milwaukee again on Monday. This time I'll be interviewing with a company for one of two openings. It just so happens that this company is owned by my "contact" in Milwaukee. Lets all think good thoughts about this one.

Money is still tight and I really only have my current job for 3 more weeks. Hopefully I'll pull off a few rentals, be offered a job and off we'll go. Otherwise I'll be looking for some temporary work here in Boston. I did get a call about some interesting temp work here, we're playing phone tag right now, but I'm looking into it just in case.

Our friend Jen is visiting us this week from Canada, She's been off wandering around Boston and having fun while Dave and I work all day. She seems to be having a great time, and it certainly doesnt hurt that the weather here has been amazing since she arrived on Saturday.

Well.. I should go make some dinner for all of us. Keep thinking those positive thoughts for us!!

I'm flying to Milwaukee in a few hours. I'm in an incredibly good mood. Dave and I got some amazing news about our future from my dad. I'm just going to leave it at that for now. I'm feeling good about the interviews tomorrow and I rented a couple of apartments last week. I could use a couple more, but 2 was what I needed at the time.

Life is feeling good right about now. I'll let you all know what happens when I get back from Milwaukee.

I am back from Milwaukee. I had a really great interview. I like the company, I like the position, I like the people. Now the waiting game begins to hear the decision. I think I have a really strong chance for this one and I hope they feel that I am the right candidate. As soon as I know something, you will too. I'm excited about having a job that I have a passion for again and I hope that they saw that in me.

I came home yesterday to a sick husband. Poor thing was very flu-ish and slept until about 2:00 in the afternoon. I made him eat something and gave him some medicine. This morning he is up and looks like he's feeling better and heading to work. I hate to see him sick.. I hope he's feeling 100% soon.

Our roof deck is being repaired. There is alot of banging up there.. we're going to get out of here and head to our jobs just to get away from all the banging!

Still waiting on the decision makers at the job I interviewed for last week in Milwaukee. I received a phone call today saying that they have one more person to interview on wednesday and then they'll get down to making a decision. At least I know I'm still in the running.

Dinner tonight with some friends and then a 40th birthday party for a friend of Dave's. Tomorrow I will have tea with a friend who I will miss very much once we move.

We've just been basically living life in the last week. Sllep, work, dinner, tv, computer. Nothing special.

The only very special thing is the birth of Sophia Satnick this morning! Congrats Jeff and Jess and Sam! We cant wait to see the little cutie!

Havent felt like posting because there hasnt been news.. but today there is news! I got a call that the company I want to work for wants me to come in for a second interview. They want it to be a face to face interview and will let me know tomorrow when the appointment is for so I can make flight arrangements and such. Very good news for me!

Dave and I are hoping to get to NYC this weekend to visit with friends and so we can spend time in the place I still call home. I miss my NYC but also dont want to live there again. I do love that city but it gets to be too much when you're there all the time. I cant wait to see my friends there.

We've been feeling very much "in limbo" and cant wait for there to be a set plan to move our lives forward. Hopefully that will be soon.

such short notice! I'm leaving tonight for a 4:00 interview tomorrow! I'll be back in Boston early friday morning!
