After weeks of clouds and rain, we finally had a realy nice summer day yesterday. Too bad it was Day 4 of my six days off work. The previous 3 days we were whipped by a classic New England Nor'easter that poured rain and dropped tree limbs on my car. Good times. But back to yesterday... sunny, 75, a nice ocean breeze! Lizzie and I took a nice long walk along the beaches in Lynn and Swampscott with our friends Janice, Beth, and Paul. And of course Beth and Paul's pugs, who were really happy to have some cool water to flop around in. We had some very good ice cream at a seaside clamshack. Feels like summer might really be here... and it looks like today will be nice too, if a bit more cloudy. Time to go make some coffee and see what the day has to offer.
