I'm not usually publicly schmoopy about our cats... but dang, ain't they cute? Uma (left) and Kali (right) cuddled up on the couch with arms draped over each other... Awwwww!

danger! danger! excessive displays of cuteness among domesticated felines is usually a prelude to acts of unmitigated evil, or at least acts of really annoying what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-you-stop-spazzing-out!
at least this is what i've learned from my own feline critter - results may vary...
in other news, i can believe that you're still playing Deus Ex, but are you still reading Chabon? if so, please let me know & i will send you a stack of new books so you can free yourself from its dastardly (yet thrilling) spell...
AWWWWW! *Shmoop*
Posted by: Ls at March 17, 2004 11:30 AMMatthew: No... I'm not still reading Chabon, nor am I playing Deus Ex. I'm just lazy about updating that side bar. I'll go fix that now... :P
Posted by: Dave at March 17, 2004 01:18 PM"Children of Cthulhu"?!! rock on!
cue Metallica's "Thing That Should Not Be"!
someday you will have to let me take you on the Lovecraft tour of Providence - i can show you the house where the psychic vampire made of neon-blue goo lived, plus the house where Brown Johnson (one of the creeeeeepiest freakoids ever imagined) poked his little psyche-scarring head through the walls - & there's Lovecraft's house itself where he lived his little misanthropic life & the Antheneum library which holds all his dark scribblings
oh yeh, i can also show you ol' HP's grave out at Swan Point where one Halloween night local Provicops caught a bunch of folks in robes up to unspeakable doings & were attacked by what "appeared to be a dog" - no arrests were made....
ooo-eee-ooo-eee-ooooooooo
dude, did you photoshop their eyes or something?

Posted by: Lizzie at March 20, 2004 02:31 PMHello, Cute monkeys! I now have a couple of teddy bear hamsters who go by the name "Hamtero". Yup, both are just Hamtero because I can't think of anything else and Hamtero is this cute Japanese hamster. (Little hamsters big adventures!) I will send a picture when I can. Nice to read up on your journal and see what you're up to. Gary and I will be teaching summer camp next week and we have to wear Hawaiian shirts. Some dippy Hawaiian theme. It should be fun though, 50 minute classes and we are free to do pretty much what we want. (Ok kids, we're going to watch 'Finding Nemo' today!) No I wouldn't do that. Went camping again last weekend and saw great wildlife! When you photograph monkeys with a flash they run like hell screaming, it's quite funny. OK, talk to you later and glad to see you are doing so much with your blog, Love, Meryl
